The 2024 Artist in Residence program concluded in December with textile and acrylic artist Karin Olah. During her residency, Karin shared her distinctive approach of blending fabric seamlessly into her vibrant landscape paintings. Drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of Palmetto Bluff’s waterscapes and landscapes, she worked closely with participants to explore new artistic perspectives. Karin also hosted a special workshop on the porch at May River Grill, where attendees captured the breathtaking views of the May River Golf Course and Palmetto Bluff’s living logo – the palm and oak trees.
