On September 13, we are excited to welcome our next Artist in Residence to Palmetto Bluff. Quintin Middleton is the artisan behind the Middleton Made Knives, a line of bespoke tools crafted in the rural town of Saint Stephen, South Carolina. Over the last decade, Middleton has earned a reputation as one of the South’s premier culinary bladesmiths, hand-forging knives for acclaimed chefs including Sean Brock, Michael Anthony, and Mike Lata.
Following an apprenticeship with legendary bladesmith Jason Knight, Middleton transitioned to creating culinary knives, and a group of Charleston’s top chefs were among his first clients.
