Spanning across the May River Forest neighborhood and surrounded by ancient oak trees, this 7,171-yard masterpiece is renowned for its eco-friendly Paspalum turf and imported bunker sand. Crossroads
Redefining the Bluff’s Golf Experience
Palmetto Bluff's Crossroads is an innovative new nine-hole golf course that provides players with limitless shot-making possibilities and encourages them to explore its captivating terrain. This course, designed by the highly acclaimed golf architecture firm King-Collins, is unique and departs from traditional layouts. It is reversible, and golfers can crisscross over themselves to enjoy an exciting and dynamic experience every time they play.
This course was designed for match play, and both routings - named The Hammer and The Press - offer dramatic finishes that ensure a thrilling end to every round. Crossroads has a meandering layout that encourages players to create their own style of play. Members can go off the beaten path and explore the hidden cross-country holes tucked away within the format.
Noted for its fun and flexibility, Crossroads provides a unique golfing experience for the Lowcountry, featuring stunning dune ridges that reach up to 40 feet in height and elevation changes of +/- 10 feet throughout the course.
ANSON POINT
A Course Discovered, Not Built
Anson Point is Palmetto Bluff’s newest 18-hole golf course, designed by legendary architects Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw. More than a course, it is a pure, immersive experience—one that honors both the game and the land.
Set within the storied Anson area—named for Admiral George Anson, 1st Baron Anson, a famed British naval officer and explorer—the course carries forward a spirit of discovery and timeless connection to place. Spanning more than 500 acres of preserved Lowcountry landscape, Anson Point unfolds across natural contours, grand live oaks, coastal marsh grasses, and a design that evolves with every round.
Intentionally designed without residential components, Anson Point protects wildlife corridors and native ecosystems. The Palmetto Bluff Conservancy will continue to steward the surrounding land, underscoring the Bluff’s unwavering commitment to conservation.
From its historic name to its land-first approach, Anson Point is a course that feels discovered rather than built—an invitation to play where every hole belongs to the landscape, and every round reveals something new.
