Meet our March Artist in Residence

Written by Palmetto Bluff

We are excited to announce our 2021 Artist in Residence program. From hand-forged knives to artisan pasta and botanical art, the talent moving into the Artist Cottage this year features eleven of the best makers the south has to offer.

The Artist in Residence program is a collaboration between Garden & Gun and Palmetto Bluff that celebrates the arts, fosters creativity, and offers hands-on education for residents and guests. View the 2021 Artist in Residence schedule and get your tickets now. Questions? Email us at marketing@palmettobluff.com.

Meet our March Artist in Residence

We’re kicking things off in March with renowned chef, restaurateur, tv personality, and author Maneet Chauhan. Born in Punjab, India, Chauhan worked in some of the country’s top hotels before pursuing a culinary career in the United States. Now residing in Nashville, she is the executive chef and co-owner of Chauhan Ale & Masala House and co-owner of Mantra Artisan Ales. In 2012, Chauhan received a James Beard Award for her role as a judge on the Food Network show Chopped, on which she remains a recurring member of the judges panel.

Guests will join Chauhan for dinner and a cooking lesson, learn how to create their own Indian-inspired “chaat,” and take home a copy of her latest book, Chaat: The Best Recipes from the Kitchens, Markets, and Railways of India.

Purchase tickets for Maneet Chauhan and all Artist in Residence events here.
