Palmetto Bluff Shines Bright in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2023 Readers’ Choice Awards

The results of Condé Nast Traveler’s 2023 Readers’ Choice Awards are in, and Montage Palmetto Bluff, Hilton Head Island, Charleston, and Savannah received numerous accolades and awards highlighting what makes the Lowcountry region a stand out amongst the rest.

Montage Palmetto Bluff: The South’s Crowned Resort

Not only did Montage Palmetto Bluff rank as #1 among the Top 20 Resorts in the South, alongside The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort ranked as #5, but our five-star resort was also named #14 for The Best Resorts in the World.

Palmetto Bluff’s Neighbors Shine

While Montage Palmetto Bluff and The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort took top honors, neighboring Lowcountry destinations also stood out in the Readers’ Choice Awards. Charleston, South Carolina, ranked as #1 Best Cities in the US in the Small Cities category, followed by Savannah, Georgia, at #5, further showcasing cities along the coastline.

The Lowcountry’s Islands of Paradise

As for Top Islands of 2023, Hilton Head Island was ranked #1 immediately, followed by Kiawah Island at #2, both for their unique sea island serenity offering a relaxing escape to Condé Nast Traveler readers.
